We are honored to have Coral Hartl, a member of New Hope Christian Church at 1400 S. George Washington Dr in Wichita, design our new church logos.  It is based on the Scripture from John 15: 5. I am the vine, you are the branches.  Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.  We love to share with you our own logos which is a one-of-a-kind design.  Thank you, Coral.

The youth and several adults had fun planting in our community garden.  We have high hopes that we will harvest what we planted.  We will be sharing our harvest with our Helping Hands Food Pantry and also making pickles from what we grow.

This coming Saturday, May 27, from 1:30-4:00 pm we will be meeting at New Hope Christian Church at 1400 S. George Washington Dr in Wichita.  Needed are volunteers to help us straighten out the bags, cut them into strips, and loop the strips into balls of plarn (balls of plastic yarn).  Everyone is invited!  Hope to see you there.

On Thursday, 5/11/17 we will have Food Distribution for Helping Hands, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  Proof of residence in the 672XX area code is required.

On 05/14/17 at our Worship Service at 10:30 AM, please be sure to wear a hat to celebrate Mother’s Day!
