On August 25th, after our worship service, we will hold a reception for Garrett Welch, our accompanist for several years. As he begins a new chapter in his life, we want to wish him well. Garrett has contributed so much to our church, and he will be greatly missed.

On Sunday, August 18th, Rev. Tanja Walker-Yocum will lead our worship service. Following the service, there will be a special called meeting of the Action Committee. We invite everyone to join us and hear Rev. Tanja Walker-Yocum’s message.

Our church choir will resume practices on August 28 at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary. We’re excited to start the new season, lifting our voices in praise to God. Everyone is welcome to join and make a joyful noise to the Lord!

We are excited to announce that we are now sharing our church facility with The Lao International Church. Their worship service will be held at the same time as ours. We warmly welcome their church family into our community.

We appreciate all the people who have contributed their time and talents plus donated the much needed items to do our ministry to help the homeless people in our community. Thank you so much for supporting our ministry. We are not taking anymore supplies to continue this ministry.

Come join us this coming Saturday, April 1, from 1:00-3:30 pm in The Gathering Place at New Hope Christian Church 1400 S. George Washington Drive Wichita as we learn how to make an Easter wreath. You are encouraged to bring 3 types of fabric with one being at least 1/2 yard. The rest of the supplies will be provided.

Come and join us in worship at 10:30 am Sunday morning as we celebrate together Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Pastor Denny Bell will be preaching from the scripture reading Luke 19: 28-40 and the title of the message is “Crossroads.”

We invite you to come and participate in our church’s anniversary on Sunday, Sept 19. We will be dedicating our new grand piano during the worship service at 10:30 am. You are encouraged to bring a baby picture and give it to Elaine Hayes for our activities after worship. Please bring side dishes of vegetables and salads for our lunch meal of fried chicken and hot dogs. An anniversary cake will be served after the meal. Then we will play Bingo with prizes afterwards. Come one! Come all and join in the festivities!

Saturday, Sept 18 at 10:00 am all members of New Hope Christian Church are invited to come to our monthly Action Committee Meeting. The meeting will also be available on Zoom.
